Nitish Kumar rejects claims by CAG, said- 'my work does not get much publicity'

  • The CAG in its latest report has exposed many flaws regarding the financial management of the Nitish Kumar govt of Bihar.
  • Nitish Kumar has straightaway rejected the claims and said that while making a damaging comment, publicity is received.
  • He said that his work does not get much publicity. He said that in the report, a utilization certificate amounting to Rs 79 thousand 690 crores is not being given even after repeated requests.
  • The report considers that the pending utilization certificate may be fraught with the risk of misuse and embezzlement of that amount.
  • At the same time, the advance amount of 9155 crores was also pending due to the non-presentation of the DC Bill.
